Provo Canyon Marathon- September 8, 2007:

to the 26.2 Mile team relay run, & Marathon Sept 8th(Click here)
Time Limit 5:30 min. Team relay limit is 1st run must be fast runner,
So we can get off the road fast.
6:30-7:am start Start, 6:30 to get a cool morning start. before
(deer creek Dam)

This run has
become the favorite run for many runners to train for in the summer.
Some runners use the run to get ready for St. George in October.
This run is like running an easy down hill. You start at Deer Creek
Dam Then Run on road for 4.5 miles then Provo River Trail then in
front of Bridal veil falls
T1 6.7 miles. Team change, will be at bridal veil falls.
You will run up the frontage road turn at the top, then down to
get on trail again.
t2 Team change will be at the shops at riverwoods, 14 miles
t3 will be at Plumbtree shops, 20 miles. 6.2 miles to go.
Run Down Provo Canyon To Utah Lake
Then the adventure starts,
Fun time at finish with drinks, pancakes, lay under the large trees
on the grass.

The morning of run,
is really easy to get to parking for the 18 tba mile

Traveling on I-15 Freeway going south, from SLC.
Get off at Center Street exit in Orem.
Go east towards the Mountains a couple of miles.
You will go past 800 East (Red-light in Orem).
